This section showcases a small sampling of my life and interests outside of that of metalwork.
First, are photos of my wife Kristina and I, along with a few of our guests, from our July 4th, 2003 Wedding. Our wedding was quite an event! It was actually more along the lines of a carefully choreographed theater production than a typical wedding. It was a blast! We included many surprise activities such as Tarot card readers and Mediums, as well as performances from some of our friends who posed as guests, and slowly unveiled their talents. These included; a master magician, a troupe of modern, progressive belly dancers, a professional body builder, and a Russian circus mime. All of this slowly unraveled in a blaze of sight, sound, and fun!
Next, is a series of some of my art photography. I am particularly interested in working with the unpredictable nature of long exposure, open shutter, and camera and/or lens movement experiments. No digital or computer manipulation was used to create these shots. These images have a very unique abstract-painting quality to them. This is the only art form that I engage in that is quick, random, and unpredictable. Another hobby that translates into a great subject for my style of action-induced experimental photos is Fire-Dance! This aspect of performance art is another activity that both Kristina and I occasionally practice; it is ancient, and quite exhilarating.
Finally, there is a selection of a few of my abstract-paintings.
