This show highlights 39 California based artists, hand-picked by Monica Moses, Editor-in-Chief: AMERICAN CRAFT magazine. 60 works were chosen by Ms. Moses out of around 600 submissions, so this is an extremely high-caliber show, which also makes being singled out all that more exciting!

The show explores innovations in the traditional craft mediums of ceramics, wood, glass, metal, fiber, enamel, paper and jewelry, surveing artists who are forward thinking in their approach to materials and application.
Opening Reception is March 23, with the works on view June 1st, 2013.
Jennifer Scanlon, Associate Curator at the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) in NYC selected one of my Art-Knives for inclusion in the Mesa Art Museum's 34th Annual Contemporary Crafts exhibition. This is a highly competitive juried exhibition with only 47 pieces selected from a total of 275 submissions.

Highlighting the finest in contemporary crafts from across the country, Mesa Contemporary Arts' Annual Contemporary Crafts exhibition has become a benchmark for innovation and quality. Representative of traditional craft mediums including ceramics, fibers, basketry, metals, wood, glass, jewelry, papermaking and book arts, this exhibition showcases 47 artworks by 44 artists, representing 17 states.
