"Moon Storm" gets its name from the combination of incredible lunar-like Mother of Pearl handle scales, and the chaotic pattern of the Damascus steel blade and bolsters which was the first that I forged myself. This knife appeared in the 2004 gallery show, "Knives as Art", at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, Houston, TX, and in the following publications: in the Jan./Feb, 2003 German magazine, "Hephaistos", in the book "Art & Design in Modern Custom Folding Knives" as well as in the Feb-Apr. 2003 French magazine; "La Passion des Couteaux."

SCALES: Huge, premium grade, highly charactered Mother of Pearl, contoured, with polished stainless steel backing, SCALES: and various gemstones set in 18k yellow gold.
BACKBAR: Two part 6al4v titanium, with transparent shell inlay and logo underlay. As well as opposing and alternating BACKBAR: Iolite and Amethyst bullet cabochons set in 18k yellow gold.
LINERS: Bi-colored and anodic painted 6al4v titanium, fileworked and beveled.		INLAY: Transparent shell with INLAY: signature logo underlay.
THUMBKNOBS: Double, dual sided 2mm faceted garnets set in 18k yellow gold bezels.
STONES: (All stones are faceted unless otherwise indicated) 2mm garnets, 3mm London blue topaz cabochons, STONES: 5mm garnet cabochons, 4mm garnet cabochons, 4mm London blue topaz, 3mm peridot, 3mm and 4mm blue STONES: paua shell cabochons, 4mm black-lip pearl cabochons, 3mm iolite and amethyst bullet cabochons.
