Every so often I create a knife that becomes the new standard by which all others are measured. Leviathan is currently that knife within the folder variety. This knife features a stunning combination of materials carefully chosen to compliment one another. Everything from the colorations of the steel and titanium, to the very subtle, but distinct green gold, and exquisite abalone all flow flawlessly together. This knife displayed the first use of several of my now famous features, and special touches including the selectively two-toned blade. I have also set stones along the inside lip of the case. Also, what you don't see in any of the photos are abalone inlays set into the titanium liners along the inside. I still think the stones setting along the inside flats of the liners is one of the best developments in knife embellishments that I have ever come up with. These are significant because prior to this these areas had really gone largely unexplored. This knife also features the first use of a new blade safety mechanism that helps keep the blade securely in the closed position. Beauty and the beast truly become one, which at a core level is what my work is all about; combining polarities in one unique object.
