| Barracuda Chromosome -- Scroll to Bottom for Detailed Information on this Design |
| This aggressive looking beast was my very first folding knife, but at over 10" open, and with that hook, it's not exactly a pocket knife! It's slim and deadly like its namesake, and bears resemblance to the Barracuda through its "eye", "gills", "fins", and aquatic influenced materials; water ripple pattern Damascus steel, blood-red Coral scales, and large abalone spine inlays. I think this knife also has a real sense of movement, as though it is quickly darting forward. This knife has appeared in the following publications: in the Jan./Feb, 2003 German magazine, "Hephaistos". in the book, "Art & Design in Modern Custom Folding Knives", "Knives Annual 2003", in the Oct. 2000 Swiss magazine "Internationales Waffen-Magazin", and in the Jun.'00 "Knives Illustrated". |
